BREAKING: Diddy Sentenced to 50 Months in Prison Over Solicitation Charges

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Sentenced to Over Four Years in Prison for Solicitation Conviction
Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs, 55, has been sentenced to 50 months in prison following his conviction on charges related to solicitation and abuse.
The sentence was handed down on Friday by Judge Arun Subramanian in a Manhattan courtroom, where Diddy reportedly hung his head as the judgment was read. Members of his family were present in court and were seen in tears as the ruling was delivered.
In addition to the prison term, Judge Subramanian imposed a $500,000 fine, describing Diddy’s actions as “savage” and stating that his behavior caused irreparable harm to his victims. The judge added that the sentence was meant to serve as an example and a warning to others in positions of power.
Prosecutors argued that Combs had shown arrogance in the days leading up to sentencing, noting that he had arranged public speaking engagements for the following week in Miami, apparently confident he would avoid further jail time.
His attorney, Nicole Westmoreland, tearfully pleaded for leniency, citing his 2004 Menswear Designer of the Year Award from the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) as evidence of his positive contributions. “It wasn’t just about an award; it was about breaking barriers,” she said, visibly emotional.
The sentence concludes one of the most dramatic legal downfalls in the music industry, closing a chapter on a career that once defined success and influence in American entertainment.
