Olufela Olufemi Anikulapo Kuti professionally known as Femi Kuti, has come out to debunk the rumors going round that he is now a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC). Femi Kuti who has never been a party to any of the political groups, neither has he participated or perform in any of their rallies in the country has come to clear the air concerning the rumors of him going round that he now belongs to APC political party.

He also went on to say that he has gotten lots of backlash as regards the incident, but he is still keeping to his words as he has never and will never affiliate himself with any political party that he doesn’t feel has the genuine interest of the people of country at heart.

Femi also stated that at some point, the Vice President of the federal republic of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo approached him to join the ruling party APC, but he turned him down as he has also refused the same offer from the opposite party Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and he will not be a party to any political groups in the country.
