Bernardo Silva gave City who were without a coach, Pep Guardiola and seven first-team players an early lead before Gabriel Jesus made it two before the break.

And though, Swindon’s goalkeeper saved  Jesus penalty minutes later,  as Harry McKirdy pulled a goal back for the hosts late on, it did nothing to deter the dominant visitors who increased the tally to four goals through young debutant, Palmer.
