Bayern Munich and Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane has won the first ever Socrates Award.
The Humanitarian award was given to the 30 year old on Monday, at the 2022 BALLON D’OR award ceremony.
The former Liverpool player also finished second in the BALLON D’OR rankings.
Meanwhile, Manchester City won the club of the year, while Alexia Putellas retained the Women’s BALLON D’OR award for best female played of the 2021/2022 football season.
