Morocco pulled yet another World Cup shocker as they defeated Spain 3-0 on penalty to scale through to the last 16 for the first time in their history.
The Atlas Lions held the 2010 World champions to a goalless draw which led to penalties.
Luis Enrique’s side were quite unfortunate as they failed to convert any of their spot kick, with Morocco’s goalkeeper Yassine Bounou saving two.
Morocco on the other hand, scored three of their kicks, with Achraf Hakimi chipping in the winner with a penenka.
Morocco are now the fourth African side to reach the quarter-finals at a World Cup, after Cameroon (1990), Senegal (2002) and Ghana (2010).
