Manchester City defeated their arch-city rivals, Manchester United 2-1 in Saturday’s FA Cup final at Wembley to land their second trophy of the season.
Goals by skipper, Ilkay Gundogan, in both halves of the game were enough to secure the seventh FA Cup title for Pep’s team, as Bruno Fernandes converted penalty served as mere compensation for Ten Hag’s side.
The victory means City, who already have the EPL title, still have their treble chase alive as they turn their focus to next Saturday’s Champions League final against Inter Milan in Istanbul.
