Off an impressive Euro qualifiers run it was expected that Scotland who give England a solid run for their money, but they were rather underwhelming, with The Three Lions going 2-0 up at halftime, to the dismay of the Scottish fans at Hampden.

After the break, Harry Maguire scored an own goal and while that would have been a good opening for a comeback, it was England who got the last say, with Harry Kane slotting in the third goal for Gareth Southgate’s side.
The last time Scotland defeated England was in 1999, and with this result, their hopes of a win in this less-than-friendly fixture continue.
