After the break, new signing, Rasmus Hojland, pulled one back for Man Utd, before Harry Kane slotted in a third for Bayern from the spot.

Just when it seemed United were about to suffer yet another 3-1 defeat, as in their last two games, Casemiro, pulled one back in the 88th minute, giving the visitors a glimmer of hope for a possible comeback.
However, the hope was shattered when Mathys Tel sent home Bayern’s fourth. Casemiro did go on to score a third goal for United, but it was too late, as the damage had already been done.
