After some delays and extended dates, the 2023 African Cup of Nations has finally kicked off, with the host country, Ivory Coast, starting off on a bright note, as they secured a 2-0 win over Guinea-Bissau.

It was a really good start for The Elephants, who were the better side and deserved the win, which keeps them at the top of Group A, which also has Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea, who are playing on Sunday afternoon.
