Big Brother Naija former housemate, Ka3na Jones has issued out a public service announcement targeting those peddling rumours regarding her marriage to her late Caucasian husband, Mr Jones.
Few months back, Ka3na fueled speculations of her split from her British husband, Mr. Jones.
In an Instagram post, Ka3na shared a rather confusing cryptic post. She referred herself to as “Miss Ka3na and not searching”, despite being married to and having a kid for Mr. Jones.
She also posted on her official Twitter page, “Be careful who you build with. People will use you for the foundation and finish the structure with someone else. Choose the latter, be the one to move in.”
Shortly after, Ka3na on her Instagram page shared photos of herself and her daughter, Lila, in their lovely London home and revealed that she is now officially divorced even though she didn’t receive her family and friends’ support on the decision.
She wrote, “It’s Been 17Days Since We Got The Keys To Our New Home @lila_bossbaby. Dissolving my marriage and moving abroad so far has been the toughest decision this year without the support of my family and friends.
A few months later, news hit the internet that Mr. Jones had given up the ghost. Netizens immediately concluded that it was Ka3na’s strategy to make away with the British man’s fortune.
However in a recent development, took to her Twitter page to reveal that there is a misconception making the rounds on social media that she and her husband had gotten divorced before his untimely passing.
Ka3na emphasized that the rumors are unfounded and completely untrue.
She noted that she and her husband were both legally and traditonally married until he died.
Speaking further, she noted that she has no intention of remarrying, changing her marital status or dropping her husband’s name.
She wrote:
“Public Announcement:
I believe it is necessary for me to clarify a misconception that has been circulating amongst the public. There are individuals who falsely claim that I was divorced from my late husband prior to his untimely passing. This is entirely untrue. I was legally and traditionally married to Mr. Jones, and I am now his widow. I have no intention of remarriage or changing my marital status by dropping my husband’s name.
I kindly request that everyone respects this statement and refrains from spreading any form of misinformation.
