Nollywood actress, Iyabo Ojo has taken the stress to prove to the public at large that she was indeed invited to Davido and Chioma’s lavish wedding, amidst claims by controversial social media critic Verydarkman that she was snuck in alongside influencers.
On the D-day of the star-studded event, Iyabo Ojo launched an Instagram live session with fans, explaining that she was stuck in traffic, hence the reason she wasn’t already at the wedding.
Ojo said, “Whether you got an invite or not, we’re all the same, watching Davido’s wedding on our phones. Those of us with invites are still stuck in traffic and can’t make it to the wedding.
A day after, controversial online critic Vincent Martins Otse aka VeryDarkMan (VDM) took to social media to expose some of the celebrities who attended Davido and Chioma’s traditional wedding party.
The dark man blasted Iyabo Ojo and claimed she tried to claim that traffic was the reason she was late for Davido and Chioma’s wedding. According to him, she only got invited to the after-party and it was clearly indicated that she would only be admitted in from 5 pm.
VDM dared Iyabo Ojo to share photos or videos of herself with Davido at the party before tackling her colleague, Nkechi Blessing.
Iyabo Ojo immediately took this allegation personally by releasing receipts that she was invited to the event.
She shared screenshots of her conversation with the person Davido sent to give her the invite, with a barcode bearing her name.
