“Two Journeys One House”, The 9th season of Big Brother Naija, the biggest reality show in the country, premiered at 7 PM Sunday!
The show kicked off with a tour around the Big Brother House for the BBNaija No Loose Guard edition.
The host of this year’s edition is no other than Ebuka Obi Uchendu, a former housemate and consecutive anchor for multiple seasons of the show.
For the opening night of BBNaija No Loose Guard, Ebuka, who has consistently raised the bar for style and sophistication, delivered as expected. His first look was a Mai Atafo custom-designed sharp tuxedo with a unique net drape, adding a dramatic flair. The second outfit, also by Mai Atafo, featured a glittery, shimmery jacket paired with black trousers
This season’s surprising twist introduces pairs into the mix, promising a thrilling blend of competition, collaboration, and unexpected drama.
Meet the Housemates:
Zion and Chinwe
The first set of housemates unveiled are described as lovers, Zion and Chinwe, who are dating and unfazed to show their love to the world. Their pair name is ZINWE.

Zion (26) Model and Fashion Designer, Edo State.
Fairme David and Michky
The next duo entering BIggie’s house is Fairme David and Michky. The pair that is united in body goals as gym love is known as RADICALS!
Fairme David (29) Professional Dancer and Content Creator, Delta State.
Michky (24) Gym instructor, Edo State.
DJ Flo and Rhuthee
The next in line is a female duo, DJ Flo and Rhuthee and their pair known as FLORUISH and they’ve been friends for 10years.
Their decade-strong friendship was forged in a Ghanaian school and cemented by shared experiences. They cannot wait to take on the ‘No Loose Guard’ house and scatter any ship matter.

Chinne and Nne
Cuteness overload as an aunty and her niece, Chinne and Nne promises to be all the energy in the house. The name of the dynamic duo is NDI NNE!
The duo’s bond started with Mary’s birth in 2002 and grew stronger when Chinne moved in with Mary’s parents. This arrangement made the two ladies inseparable, sharing every moment of their lives. “My aunt was like a big sister to me. She taught me vital things and we bonded like siblings,” Mary said about their relationship.

Sooj and Topher
Friends for one year. It was friendship at first sight for this fashion duo, when Sooj interviewed for a job at the PR firm Topher worked at. The two started vining from the jump after Topher complemented his fit.

Chekas (Chizoba and Onyeka)

Queen Nelly (29) Chef and Entertainer, Abia State.
These two met at a beauty pageant audition in Owerri, Imo State and they connected instantly. When Anita won Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) in 2018, Queen Nelly distanced herself because she felt she was no longer in the same “class” as her friend. However, Anita had a pleasant surprise for her. “My stubborn friend didn’t let go, she tried her best to check up on me and always reached out every chance she could”.
Wanni x Handi (Handi and Wanni)
Twin sisters and best friends (28). Wanni and Handi’s relationship started with sharing the same space in their mother’s womb 27 years ago and it has blossomed into an inseparable bond between the two. They are both Deejays.
Beta (Tjay and Ben)
Friends for six years. Not your regular kind of friendship … but these two are not just friends, but business partners too. They randomly met on Instagram in 2018 and neither of them knew that one comment would be the beginning of a lasting friendship.

Friends since 2022. When these two content creators met, there was an instant connection. They quickly realised they were perfect for each other, creatively and personally.

Best friends for 8 years. A perfect picture taken at a Lagos TV event in 2016 led to a solid sisterhood for these self-proclaimed twins. Damilola not only took a photo that Toyosi loved, but she also managed to calm anxiety, making her a keeper.

The season which is themed No Loose Guard promises exciting twists designed to keep viewers on the edge of their seats for the next 10 weeks.
The grand prize for this season is a spectacular ₦100 million, which includes a cash prize and an SUV, with additional sponsored prizes to be announced.
