Manchester City kicked off their 2024/2025 Champions League campaign with a disappointing stalemate against Inter Milan.
The clash was a replay of the 2023 Champions League final, which City won, but this time around, it failed to provide a winner.
City didn’t look as clinical and threatening as you’ve come to know them for, while Milan, which could have been the better side of the night, failed to take their chances, just as much as Pep Guardiola’s men.
Meanwhile, in other games of the night, it took late error from Girona goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga, for French giants, Paris St-Germain to snatch a win against Girona, who are partaking in the Champions League for the first time.
It was a heartbreaking result for Girona who had held their own in an impressive show of grit, especially at the back.
