Controversial social media critic and activist, Martins Otse, a.k.a VeryDarkMan has released an audio implicating Bobrisky, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, veteran lawyer and human rights activist, Femi Falana, and his son, Falz, in corrupt practices.
Recall that back in April, Bobrisky was sentenced to six months imprisonment without an option of fine for abusing the Nigerian currency – naira.
Notably, following Bobrisky’s recent release from prison, prominent Nigerian entertainment industry figures, including Don Jazzy and Victor Osimhen, donated millions of naira.
However, in the leaked audio circulating online shared by Martins Otse, a.k.a VeryDarkMan, Bobrisky alleged that some unnamed officers of the EFCC collected the sum of N15,000,000 from him to drop money laundering charges against him.
Bobrisky was initially arraigned on six charges bordering on naira abuse and money laundering to the tune of N127,780,877.98.
From the audio, Bobrisky revealed that despite paying the demanded amount, EFCC prosecuted him, resulting in a six-month prison sentence.
According to Bobrisky, he didn’t serve his prison term in prison as his godfather reached out to top prison officials, who arranged an apartment for him to serve his sentence.
Bobrisky revealed that Afrobeats star, Falz and his father, Femi Falana, reached out to him prior to his release from prison.
According to Bobrisky, Femi Falana facilitated a pardon for 10 million naira to settle the case.
Sharing the audio, VDM wrote;
“In everything and everyone that is mentioned here,l will be very dis^ppo!noted if truly FALZ and his father are involved in this whole bobrisky issue,did they know about the lie of him being in prison,like how? And @officialefcc you must produce the officers that did this dealing, after this Nigeria no go surprise me again, PART 2 LOADING”.
This comes shortly after VDM called out Bobrisky over a 4million Naira debt.
VDM took to his page to reveal that an unnamed individual had run to him to complain about his debt issue with Bobrisky.
According to Verydarkman, the individual had sent money to Bobrisky while he was in prison, but when he contacted Bobrisky to send him the cash in August, he had initially given an excuse about the banks being closed because of the protest.
He had later asked the man to give him until September to pay up the cash.
On the 2nd of September, the man had reached out to Bobrisky but the crossdresser snubbed him and left his other messages unread.
Verydarkman has severely warned Bobrisky to return the cash, so he doesn’t face his serious consequences.
