“Don’t jump on my stage like that! I got PTSD”- Burna Boy responds to assaulting fan on stage

Grammy -award winner, Burna Boy on Wednesday at the iconic Tafawa Balewa Square, left his fans in awe as he gave mind-blowing “performances” during the Greater Lagos Countdown to usher in the New Year.

The event, organised by the Lagos State Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture was an unforgettable night of music, excitement, and celebration.

However, one of the highlights from the event was the moment a fan climbed the stage while Burna was performing.

A viral video surfaced, showing the shocking moment the fan broke through security and rushed towards Burna Boy on stage, prompting the singer to abruptly halt his performance and exit the stage.

In a recent post on his page, Burna Boy explained that it was a free show and he had performed past the 10 mins he was meant to.

Additionally, he explained that he had PTSD and the fan had startled him.

He wrote:

“It was a free show.I was supposed to do 10mins and did almost an hour.

Everybody knows my rule about getting on stage and startling me when I’m performing. I had an amazing time with Lagos State last night.

Don’t jump on my stage like that! I got PTSD. I love you all. Happy new year.”
