Pep Guardiola was less than impressed after his side fumbled a 2-0 lead away at Brentford to settle for a 2-2 draw.

A brace in the second half from Phil Foden had given City what was believed to be a comfortable lead particularly with the second goal coming in the 78th minute.
The hosts however didn’t see the game ending so soon as their resilience paid off when Yoane Wissa pulled a goal back in the 82nd minute paving way for Christian Norgaard’s 92nd-minute equalizer, completely destabilizing City.
Things could easily have gone from bad to worst for the defending champions had Bryan Mbeumo’s effort in the 95th minute resulted in a winner, thanks to Nathan Ake’s headed clearance, Pep and his boys could save themselves from humiliation.

The result leaves the defending champions 6th on the log with 35 points, 12 points behind leaders, Liverpool, who were also thankful to come from behind and grabbed a point against Nottingham Forest who are second on the table.
