Manchester United suffer defeat to Brighton

It wasn’t a very bright Sunday at Old Trafford for Manchester United as they succumbed to a 1-3 defeat to Brighton.

Yankuba Minteh gave the visitors an early lead just five minutes into the game, before Bruno Fernandes equalized from the spot in the 23rd minute, keeping things squared at hald time.

After the break, Kauro Mitoma put the visitors ahead again, before an embarrassing blunder from United’s keeper, Andre Obama saw Georginio Rutter finished things off.

The result which is Seagulls’ sixth win in seven meetings against United and United’s fourth defeat in five EPL home games, leaves the struggling and inconsistent side stuck in the bottom half of the table with  Ruben Amorim describing his side as probably United’s worst team ever.
