Dr Ezekiel ThankGod, the owner of gospel record label Eezee Conceptz, has spoken out following lawsuits from his former colleagues, Mercy Chinwo and JudiKay.
Days after gospel singer Mercy Chinwo filed a case against the boss of her former record label EeZee Conceptz, her younger colleague Judikay joined. Judikay had accused her former record label boss Eezee Tee of stealing her $264k, with some court documents to backup her claim.
Gospel singer Judith Kanayo-Opara, aka Judikay raised some issues in the report of the funds she was supposed to get within a stipulated period. She complained about several overlap months, altered reports, and the absence of some reports of her revenue while other artistes got theirs.
According to the report, Judikay’s diverted funds for the past five years amounted to $264k. The gospel singer also filed a case with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the case has begun at the Federal High Court in Lagos.
Reacting to the suit via his Instagram page, Eezee claimed that he reached out to some persons hoping to resolve the matter amicably, but they shut their doors on him. He stated that he was willing to sacrifice for the sake of the Body of Christ, yet, was told by a notable pastor that the Body of Christ was fine.
Eezee revealed that he was shattered by such a statement and questioned how he was supposed to keep quiet while his reputation was being attacked, his sacrifices disregarded, and his life threatened. He stated that if their goal is to destroy him, they’ve underestimated his resolve.

I was even willing to sacrifice for the sake of the Kingdom (The Body of Christ). Yet, I was told by a notable pastor, “The Body of Christ will be fine”.
That statement shattered me. How could I stay quiet while my reputation was being attacked, my sacrifices disregarded, and my life threatened? If their goal is to destroy me, they’ve underestimated my resolve….”.
Eezee has stated that he will definitely speak his truth, not out of bitterness, but because the truth and justice must prevail.
