Actress and producer Wumi Toriola has ranked as the second-highest grossing producer for 2024.
The Yoruba actress, who made her delve into the Cinema world with the release of her movie, Queen Lateefah, has been crowned the second-highest producer.
According to Nigeria Box ranking, her film, Queen Lateefah, earned a spot on the prestigious list.

Topping the list of the highest-grossing producers was Funke Akindele, who made over N1.1 billion at the box office. Wumi and Judith Audu had a tie as they both grossed N365 million at the box office. Wumi beat the likes of Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Eniola Ajao, and others to achieve this milestone.
Expressing joy over her feat, Wumi stated that she is still grateful as she noted how she and Judith Audu did their thing. Toriola didn’t fail to congratulate the others on their achievement.
“Grateful still. Congratulations to all the film producers. Queen Lateefah is sitting pretty on No. 2. E clear still. Congratulations @judithaudu. We did a thing,” she wrote.
She also celebrated her successful collaboration with Captain of the Sea Productions, which was recognised as the highest-grossing Nollywood collaboration.
“Grateful for the healthy Collaboration For Queen Lateefah with @cinemaxng @iamopeajayi. Thank you for making it hitch-free and still healthy.
We hope for greater works in 2025,”she wrote.
Wumi also advised young leaders to cultivate discipline and commit to seeing their tasks through to completion.
Her message read:
“Dear Young Leader,
Work–Life Balance doesn’t feature in conversations where you’re behind on deliverables.
You must learn to prioritize results. It is an unpopular opinion but a very valid one.
Develop the discipline to see things through. You must learn to shut off distractions.
Get work done. Cheers to your success.”
Akeem Adeyemi commented, “A woman on a mission, no distraction,” while Pretty Fola expressed motivation, saying, “I’m getting motivated to stop wearing makeup. This face speaks volumes!”
