Liverpool had gone into a game with very narrow 1-0 advantage from the first leg away in Paris last week, but Ousmane Dembele levelled the aggregate score with an early goal
Neither side could snatch a winner even after extra time, so the game went into penalties with PSG’s keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, proving to be the hero of the night, as thr French giants pulled through to the quarter finals of the competition.
