UCL: PSG knock Liverpool out on Penalties

Paris St-Germain put an end to Liverpool’s Champions League’s journey this season with a 4-1 win on penalties after both sides failed to produce a winner at the end of regular time at Anfield

Liverpool had gone into a game with very narrow 1-0 advantage from the first leg away in Paris last week, but Ousmane Dembele levelled the aggregate score with an early goal

Neither side could snatch a winner even after extra time, so the game went into penalties with PSG’s keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, proving to be the hero of the night, as thr French giants pulled through to the quarter finals of the competition.

Bayern Munich, Inter Milan and Barcelona are also through to the last eight
