Nollywood actress and producer Eniola Ajao is overjoyed as her movie, Beast of Two Worlds, earns a nomination at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The highly anticipated nominees’ list was released on Sunday, March 23rd, covering works in film, television, and digital content from January 1 to December 31, 2024. Beast of Two Worlds secured a nomination for Best Sound/Sound Design, competing against notable productions such as Lisabi by Lateef Adedimeji and Seven Doors by Femi Adebayo.
Taking to Instagram, Eniola shared her excitement, emphasizing how much the recognition means to her. She described the nomination as a “big deal” and expressed gratitude that her work is getting noticed. The actress, who has been teasing her second cinema project, also hinted that this is just the beginning of greater achievements in her career.
“AMVCA nomination for Beast of Two Worlds is a big deal to me!!
I’m happy my work got recognition. This is just the beginning”, she wrote.
In a similar news, Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe Adeoti is filled with excitement as her 2024 movie, Thinline, secures a nomination at the 2025 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The film earned a nomination in the Best Lead Actress category, with Uche Montana recognized for her outstanding performance in the blockbuster.
Expressing her hope for a win, Mercy called on fans to support Montana in bringing the award home.
“We got a nomination! Y’all, I am super excited that my girl @uchemontana was nominated as the BEST LEAD ACTRESS in our blockbuster, THINLINE!!! THINLINE is a masterpiece!!! @uchemontana did justice to ANNIE!!! We are bringing this home by God’s grace and y’all’s support!!!” she wrote.
