Rivers State has been on the spot since the declaration of State of Emergency by President Bola Tinubu after a protracted political fallout between the Governor and his predecessor, there has been support and counter support to the action.
Another group of women led by a former Commissioner for Social Welfare in Rivers, Ifeyinwa Aguma, has today staged a walk in Port Harcourt, Rivers state in solidarity of the emergency rule in the state. They were dressed in white as opposed to the group that protested last week in black over their displeasure in the state of Emergency.

The women through their placards are backing the state of Emergency saying it is constitutional and demanding that the democratic elected governor should not return
