Social media influencer Ashmusy has publicly reached out to activist and internet personality VeryDarkMan (VDM), seeking his help in recovering ₦33 million allegedly held by a man named Obinna Martins for over a year.
In a surprising twist, Ashmusy’s appeal comes despite her past online feud with VDM, during which she had insulted him, calling him names and referring to him as a “pig.” However, in a recent message, she offered an apology and asked him to look past their history to help her recover her money.
Responding to the plea, VDM noted the irony of the situation but maintained a calm and mature stance. He said he doesn’t believe in repaying evil with evil and was open to assisting her, provided she sends him all necessary evidence—including transaction records and any proof of the alleged financial dealings.
In his words, “It’s important to treat people with respect. You never know who you might need tomorrow.”
