Popular TikTok influencer Emilie Kiser, known for her heartwarming family content and followed by over 3.4 million fans, is grieving the devastating loss of her 3-year-old son, Trigg, who tragically passed away following a drowning incident at their home in Chandler, Arizona.
According to reports, the heartbreaking event occurred on May 12, 2025, when Trigg was found unresponsive in the family’s backyard pool. Emergency responders were immediately called to the scene, where Chandler police officers began CPR before firefighters arrived and continued life-saving efforts. He was first taken to Chandler Regional Medical Center and later airlifted to Phoenix Children’s Hospital due to the severity of his condition. Despite days of intensive care, Trigg sadly passed away on May 18.
The Chandler Police Department has confirmed that an investigation into the circumstances of the incident is underway but added that no further details will be released at this time out of respect for the family’s privacy.
In a statement issued on behalf of the Chandler Police Department, spokesperson Sonu Wasu tells PEOPLE,
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time,” reads the statement issued on behalf of the local police.
“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation,” Wasu’s statement continues. “Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed.”
Emilie and her husband, Brady, became parents in July 2021 when they welcomed their son Trigg; their second child, son Theodore, was born in March.
In the days prior to the tragedy, Emilie had posted joyful moments with her children, including a touching video that showed Trigg with his baby brother, Theodore, who was born in March 2025. Since the incident, Emilie has understandably gone silent on social media, while her followers continue to pour in condolences, love, and support as she and her family navigate this incredibly painful period.
