Europa League Final: Win over Man Utd hands Spurs first trophy in over a decade

Manchester United sealed the horrific season they’ve had with a lone goal defeat to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao, Spain.

A narrow win, courtesy of Brennan Johnson’s late first-half goal saw Tottenham left their first trophy in 17 years and will now play in next season’s champions league.

Despite both narrowly escaping relegation in the English Premier League, they managed a rather impressive run in the Europa League with Man Utd not losing a game till the final on Wednesday.

Spurs manager, Ange Postecoglou, eventually kept to his word that he wins a trophy in his second season.
