Yul Edochie returns to missionary work, renames ministry

Nollywood actor, self-proclaimed prophet, and traditionalist Yul Edochie has returned to his missionary work after a brief hiatus, announcing a fresh direction for his spiritual calling.

In a post shared on his social media page, Yul declared that his ministry is officially back and has been rebranded as the True Gospel and Eternal Salvation Ministry. The announcement was accompanied by a flyer that featured Yul in traditional attire, a clear nod to his ongoing commitment to indigenous spirituality.

“Our ministry is back,” he wrote in the caption.

This return marks another chapter in the actor’s unconventional journey, which has seen him transition from Nollywood star to preacher, and later, to a vocal advocate for African traditional values.

Here’s how Netizens are reacting:

fornyson said“Hmmm Yul make you no get God mad at you nothing is funny about you playing with The lord name..dey play”

kipsy_jay wrote:Mumu man…you can’t serve two masters the same time. That’s why the Bible said. Return to your chamber native doctor”

unstoppableabt stated: “Bros stay one place. God is not what you should be joking with”

bittertruthblog remarked: “I like as Queen May dey launch business for London while you dey Umuoji dey consult oracle.
First do oracle work for Judy first make she begin collect endorsement then we go believe say them call you true true.”

Back in 2024, Yul made headlines when he revealed he was embracing missionary work, only to later declare a shift to traditional religion, urging Nigerians to reconnect with their ancestral beliefs. His decision sparked a wide range of reactions, with some applauding his authenticity and others criticizing the contradictions in his public image.
