Nollywood actor and social media matchmaker, Adams Kehinde, popularly known as Lege Miami, has stirred reactions online after sharing a rather awkward first-date experience.
According to Lege, he had gone on a date with a lady who shocked him by ordering a meal worth ₦40,000, far beyond his expectations or budget. The actor said he only ordered food worth ₦7,000, assuming it would be a simple and affordable hangout.
In a video shared on social media, Lege showed footage of the lady’s extravagant meal, which featured massive crabs and prawns, noting that he had never even eaten such seafood before. In his own words, the situation left him stunned and with no choice but to quietly leave the venue and abandon the bill.
“I no go lie, I don run. The food pass my power. How person go order food wey reach ₦40K on first date? I just carry myself comot,” he said humorously.
The video quickly went viral with many netizens praising him for speaking up about expectations during first dates, while others criticized him for not communicating properly.
