Manchester United failed to overturn Arsenal’s 13th minute goal as they succumbed to a narrow 1-0 defeat in their opening game of the season at Old Trafford.
Ruben Amorim’s side had a more impressive outing than Mikel Arteta’s boys, but the latter were down and out of luck, as the couldn’t convert any of their efforts in the final third.
While, Riccardo Calafiori’s goal which came from a set piece was enough to hand Arsenal all three points, their performance left a lot fk be desired, as they now shift their attention to game week 2, Utd will be hoping to build on their display and get the goals rolling in.
The United vs Arsenal game marked the end of the opening weekend of the 2025/2026 EPL season which saw also Chelsea play out a barren draw against Crystal Palace.
