Chelsea undo West Ham in 5-1 comeback victory

Chelsea overturned an early goal scare to bag an impressive 5-1 win over West Ham in their second game of the season.

Off the back of a goalless draw against Crystal Palace in their opening game, Enzo Maresca’s side took the hit six minutes into game at the London Stadium courtesy of Lucas Paqueta’s goal.

Nine minutes later, Joao Pedro leveled for the visitors and by half time, the blues were 3 goals up, thanks to Pedro Neto, Enzo Fernandez.

After the break, Moises Caicedo made it four before Trevoh Chalobah added the fifth, completely cancelling out any chance of a comeback in the London Derby.

Having lost 3-0 in their opening game to newly promoted Sunderland, West Ham fans couldn’t stand to witness Friday’s annihilation, as they were already making their way out of the stadium by the fourth goal.
