Arsenal move past Liverpool loss with 3-0 win over Forest

They say you are as good as your last game, but that wasn’t the case for Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal who suffered a 1-0 defeat to Liverpool before the international break, but returned with a bang.

The Gunners ticked off match day four with a conformable 3-0 win over Nottingham Forest, handing Ange Postecoglou’s a defeat in his first game in the dugout as Forest manager.

Martin Zubimendi was the star of the afternoon, scoring in each half to bag a brace.

Viktor Gyokeres also got on the score sheet courtesy of an Eberechi Eze assist.

It was a healthy result for Arteta’s side, despite their injury concerns which has left some key  players on the sidelines, and having their Captain, Martin Odegaard subbed off in the first half due to a shoulder injury.
