Nigeria’s U17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, intensified their build-up towards next month’s FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco with two impressive victories in friendly matches at the FIFA Goal Project, Abuja, Bold Sports reports.
On Friday, 12th September, the team secured a 2–0 win over Horvel Angels. Chisom Nwachukwu opened the scoring after capitalising on a goalkeeping error, before Kaosara Olanrewaju doubled the advantage with a composed second-half finish.
Barely 24 hours later, the Flamingos produced a dominant performance against Nazareth Angels, cruising to a 5–0 victory. Goals from Itodore Destiny, Terlumu Tabitha, and Nwachukwu, alongside two first-half strikes, underlined the team’s attacking quality and depth.
