Fuji legend Adewale Ayuba has refuted claims circulating online about an alleged divorce and paternity dispute with his wife, Azuka Ego.
The rumours stemmed from a report by a YouTube channel, Nigerian News, which alleged that Ayuba uncovered his wife’s infidelity through a secret DNA test and subsequently ended their marriage.
In a statement issued through Bonsue Fuji Entertainment, the musician described the report as false and malicious. He affirmed that he remains happily married to his wife and that the paternity of their children has never been in question.
Sharing the statement on Instagram, Ayuba also disclosed that legal steps would be taken against the blogger behind the claims.
“I will not allow my integrity to be attacked without consequences,” he said.
The statement further clarified:
“For the record, Dr Adewale Ayuba and his wife have been happily married for over 30 years. This is nothing more than an attempt to embarrass his family, malign his character, and bring them into public ridicule. We are already consulting with our lawyers to pursue all available remedies against the individual behind this report.”
