Grammy-winning Nigerian superstar Burna Boy has once again found himself in the spotlight — this time for ejecting a couple from his concert in Denver, United States, after accusing them of sleeping during his performance.
The dramatic incident unfolded on Wednesday night when Burna Boy abruptly stopped his set upon noticing a woman dozing off in the front row. Clearly upset, he addressed the couple directly from the stage.
“When I stand up here and see you over there with your girl sleeping in front of me, it pisses me the fk up. So please, take her the fk home… Walahi, I’m not performing another song till you go home,” Burna Boy said angrily.
The lady initially refused to leave, but after the crowd began chanting for them to exit, the couple reluctantly walked out. Only then did Burna Boy resume his performance.
