Terry G blasts Governor Alia for denying reports of religious attacks in Benue

Nigerian singer Terry G has publicly called out Benue State Governor Hyacinth Alia for dismissing claims that recent killings in the state are religiously motivated.

Reacting to Alia’s statement that there is no “religious genocide” in Benue, Terry G accused the governor—who is also a reverend—of lying and downplaying the suffering of Christian communities.

He insisted that the attacks have clear religious undertones and urged the governor to stop denying the reality on the ground.
