Falz Urges Tinubu to Step Down Over Niger School Attack

Falz (Folarin Falana), the Nigerian rapper and activist, has publicly demanded that President Bola Tinubu resign, citing a surge in insecurity across the country.

He pointed to several recent attacks — including the abduction of 25 students from a government school in Kebbi State, the killing of a Brigadier General, and other deadly incidents.

n his message on X (formerly Twitter), Falz quoted a 2014 tweet from Tinubu — back when he was still in opposition — where Tinubu said a president who can’t protect citizens should resign.

Falz was very direct:

“You have consistently shown your unwillingness to protect the lives and property of our people … RESIGN NOW!”
