Wike’s dismissal of the party’s roadmap was blunt, focusing on what he perceives as a lack of preparation and structural integrity:
- “Contesting for Contesting’s Sake”: Wike argued that the PDP cannot realistically challenge the ruling party without first fixing its own foundation. “You cannot contest for contesting’s sake… the PDP’s path back to relevance lies not in presidential ambitions but in a total structural overhaul,” he stated.
