As the countdown to Big Brother Naija Season 11 (2026) begins, the winner of the “Shine Ya Eye” season, Whitemoney, has issued a blunt PSA to aspiring housemates: “Stop flooding my DMs.”
The reality star turned musician recently went viral after sharing a video addressing the “overwhelming” number of messages from applicants begging him to influence the selection process for this year’s show
Whitemoney didn’t mince words as he broke down the misconceptions many fans have about his role in the franchise:
- Zero Influence: He stated categorically that he has no authority or “power” to determine who enters the Big Brother house.
- “The Economy is Hard”: While acknowledging that many Nigerians view the show as a quick escape from economic hardship and a path to fame, he warned that desperation is a dangerous currency.
- Scam Alert: He warned applicants to be wary of fraudsters promising “guaranteed slots” in exchange for money. “Be wise,” he cautioned, “nobody can sell you a slot.”
Reminding fans of his own journey, Whitemoney revealed that he auditioned four times before he was finally picked for the season that made him a household name. His advice to the class of 2026?
“Follow the due process. Keep auditioning even if they reject you. Go through the front door.”
