The insecurity crisis in the North-West has claimed another prominent life, throwing the political terrain into deep mourning. Former Koko/Besse LGA APC Chairman in Kebbi State, Alhaji Muhammadu Besse, has tragically died in bandits’ captivity after being abducted earlier in June.
His heartbreaking demise was confirmed on Tuesday by conflict journalist Bakatsine. The tragic update comes shortly after a disturbing video surfaced online showing Besse and his associate being heavily humiliated by their captors in the notorious Birnin Gwari forest.
With both men now confirmed dead without ever reuniting with their families, the devastating outcome has sparked massive grief and fresh security questions across the timeline.
