The Lagos State government has partnered with the Lagos State Baales’ Forum to launch a grassroots sensitization campaign tagged “Operation Show Your PVC” in the Ikorodu Division. Aimed at mobilizing eligible residents—especially youths and first-time voters—ahead of the 2027 general elections, the initiative focuses on voter education, political mobilization, inclusive governance, and local security.
Backed by key political stakeholders from Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration and the Governance Advisory Council (GAC), the campaign also served as a platform to endorse Deputy Governor Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as the preferred candidate to sustain the state’s developmental vision. Organized under the state’s T.H.E.M.E.S+ and the federal Renewed Hope agendas, the forum plans to replicate this civic awareness drive across all remaining divisions of Lagos State.
