Lebanon has expanded travel opportunities for eligible African nationals by allowing citizens of 13 African countries to obtain visas on arrival, a move expected to promote tourism, business travel, cultural exchange, and stronger diplomatic ties. The visa-on-arrival arrangement enables qualified travelers from the listed countries to receive entry permits upon arrival at designated Lebanese ports of entry, provided they meet the country’s immigration requirements and present valid travel documents. The policy is intended to simplify travel procedures, encourage investment, and strengthen economic cooperation between Lebanon and participating African nations. The 13 African countries reportedly eligible under the current visa-on-arrival policy include Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, Kenya, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Mauritius, Seychelles, and Namibia. Immigration authorities have encouraged prospective visitors to verify their eligibility through official government channels before making travel arrangements to avoid disruptions at the point of entry.
