Kebbi State Governor Dr. Nasir Idris has stepped up aggressive political mobilization for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC), expressing absolute confidence that the ruling party will secure a resounding victory across the state in the 2027 general elections.
Speaking at the Government House in Birnin Kebbi while hosting large delegations, including members of statewide hunters’ associations drawn from all 21 local government areas, Governor Idris emphasized that alignment with the federal government remains vital for sustained regional development.
Highlighting the administration’s trajectory, the governor maintained that ongoing economic reforms under President Tinubu are yielding positive structural outcomes, urging citizens not to be swayed by opposition rhetoric.
“It is Tinubu’s time now. The President means well for Nigeria, and Kebbi State is solidly behind him. I am appealing to all of you to vote for Mr. President, the Kebbi State Governor, and all APC candidates across the board,” Idris declared.
The mass mobilization drive follows a series of strategic alignments within the state chapter, including formal endorsements from local security-focused groups and party stakeholders rallying behind the “Renewed Hope” agenda. With political realignments intensifying toward 2027, Governor Idris’s proactive grassroots push aims to solidify North-West support and project a united front for the ruling party.
