Heartbreaking Plea: Family Begs Government To Rescue Nine-Year-Old Boy And Uncle Abducted In Chikun

A tearful plea has gone out to the federal government and the Kaduna State government following the distressing abduction of a nine-year-old boy and his uncle in Chikun Local Government Area.

Five agonizing days after armed bandits invaded the community and whisked the victims away into the bush, the victims’ family members spoke out in deep anguish, appealing to security agencies to intervene urgently before it is too late.

The heartbroken mother of the young boy, Linda Nzekwe, revealed that her child was dragged away by the gunmen without clothes or shoes, leaving the family in constant emotional torture over his well-being. “We are worried. I don’t know where they took them to. Government should come to our aid,” she pleaded while weeping. “I don’t know my son’s condition. I don’t know if he has eaten. I can’t eat. Please, God, I don’t know if my son has eaten.”

The abduction highlights the lingering security vulnerabilities facing rural communities across the Chikun axis, where residents continuously live under the threat of sudden bandit attacks. Relatives urged both Governor Uba Sani and federal security authorities to deploy tactical search-and-rescue teams to track down the kidnappers’ hideout and safely reunite the young boy and his uncle with their loved ones.

As public outrage grows over the persistent threat of kidnappings in Kaduna, citizens across the country are rallying online to demand swift action from security forces.
