“Your PVC Is Your Power!” — ADC Charges Nigerians To Collect Cards Ahead Of 2027

the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has issued a rallying call to citizens across the country to head to collection centers and pick up their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).

Addressing journalists and supporters, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council strongly dismissed widespread rumors that votes will not count or that election outcomes are already predetermined. The party urged Nigerians not to let defeatist narratives stop them from exercising their fundamental democratic right.

“The era of writing results in hotel rooms is gone forever,” declared Kola Ologbondiyan, speaking on behalf of the council. He emphasized that safeguards like the Bimodal Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) and the INEC Result Viewing Portal (IReV) have drastically raised the bar for electoral integrity, making voter participation more critical than ever before.

The opposition party stressed that having millions of uncollected cards lying at INEC offices across the country weakens the voice of the people. They called on youth groups, community leaders, and civil society organizations to launch grassroots awareness drives to ensure every registered voter gets their card safely in hand.
