Sensational developments have emerged surrounding the final rites for the late Nigerian gospel minister Olayemi Bayonile Bolaji, popularly known as Toluwanisings, after his biological father publicly revealed a disagreement with the late singer’s widow over burial arrangements.
In an emotional interview, the grieving father set the record straight regarding his son’s personal details, disputing widespread internet reports about the singer’s age. He clarified that Toluwanisings was born in July 1992 and died at the age of 34, rather than 44 as falsely claimed on social media platforms.
The father further disclosed that a disagreement has arisen between him and Toluwanisings’ wife regarding where and how the late gospel star should be laid to rest. While expressing deep love for his late son, he noted that he desires a burial arrangement reflective of their family traditions, similar to how the singer’s late mother was buried.
Recounting the singer’s upbringing, the father recalled how Toluwanisings lost his mother at six months old and was largely raised by maternal relatives in a Christian home before relocating to Lagos, where he met his wife in a church choir.
