Veteran Nollywood actress Sola Sobowale is adding a new chapter to her life beyond the movie industry after unveiling an elderly care facility in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The actress launched Joseph and Esther Homes on November 4, with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde attending the ceremony to officially commission the facility.
The event attracted traditional rulers, Nollywood colleagues, family members and other well-wishers who came out to celebrate the actress and her new venture.
Sharing her excitement online, Sobowale described the launch as a dream come true and expressed appreciation to the governor and everyone who supported the project.
The development is particularly noteworthy because it shows another side of the actress, who is widely admired for her powerful performances in productions such as King of Boys, The Wedding Party and Aníkúlápó.
