Nollywood actress Angela Okorie has announced that she has made peace with fellow actress Mercy Johnson, citing Mercy’s alleged health challenges as her reason for letting go of their long-standing feud.
In a recent social media post, Angela disclosed that she received news about Mercy’s deteriorating health and felt compelled to forgive her. According to Angela, the illness Mercy is reportedly battling is so severe that she wouldn’t wish it even on an enemy.
“I got news that Mercy Johnson is not feeling well, and the kind of sickness she has is not something I would wish on my enemies,” Angela wrote. “I have forgiven Mercy Johnson because she is seriously ill. She should go and apologize to all the people she has wronged and stop using church words that don’t represent her.”
Her statement comes weeks after a video surfaced online showing Mercy Johnson looking visibly slimmer, which sparked concern among fans and colleagues. While Mercy has not officially commented on her health, the noticeable change in her appearance has stirred speculation.
This marks a dramatic shift in tone from Angela, who in 2024 repeatedly attacked Mercy online. She accused Mercy and her late mother of being involved in witchcraft and even hosted a controversial live session with someone claiming to be Mercy’s former best friend, who also levelled similar accusations.
