Another Red Card and a Defeat for Chelsea

Off the back of last weekend’s red card and 2-1 away loss to Man Utd, Chelsea suffered got a player sent off this weekend and suffered a 3-1 defeat at home to Brighton.

The Blues got off a bright start with Enzo Fernandez slotting home the opener 24 minutes into the game, a lead they maintained into the break. 

After the break, Trevoh Chalobah’s got shown a red card and sent off in the 53rd-minute. 

nspite of the numerical disadvantage, Enzo Maresca’s side held on to their lead till the 77th minute when substitute, Danny Welbeck scored the equalizer. 

The visitors when on to take full advantage of the 11 minutes added time, with Welbeck getting a brace and Maxim de Cuyper also getting on the score sheet.

This result means Chelsea are yet to win a league game since the international break and they are up against Liverpool in their next game.
