Ahead of the 2027 general elections, stakeholders within the All Progressives Congress (APC) have intensified efforts to mobilise support across Southern Kaduna for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani. The mobilisation is aimed at strengthening the party’s presence in the region and encouraging greater participation among party members and supporters as preparations for the elections gather momentum. APC stakeholders in Southern Kaduna are expected to engage community leaders, grassroots organisers, youth groups, women associations and other key political actors as part of efforts to build wider support for the party. The campaign is also expected to focus on communicating the achievements and policies of the Tinubu administration at the federal level, alongside Governor Uba Sani’s programmes in Kaduna State. Party leaders have continued to stress the importance of unity among APC members and stronger grassroots structures ahead of the 2027 elections. Southern Kaduna remains an important political area, making its support potentially significant to the party’s electoral prospects in Kaduna State. The mobilisation comes as political parties and their supporters begin positioning themselves ahead of what is expected to be a closely contested election. APC stakeholders are therefore seeking to consolidate existing support, attract new members and maintain regular engagement with communities across the region. The party’s activities are expected to increase as the 2027 elections draw closer.
