Liverpool had been pegged to have a better game and go home with all three points ahead of the clash at the Emirates, but the reverse was the case particularly in the first half of the match, which ended 1-1.

After the break, Arsenal doubled the lead with Gabriel Martinelli capitalizing on an error from Van Dijk and Allison.
Liverpool kept pushing for an equalizer but instead, they got a red card in the 88th minute, as Ibrahima Konate was shown a second yellow to further compound the misery of Jurgen Klopp and his men.

Clearly Arsenal’s night, Leandro Trossard, made it three right at the nick of stoppage time.
A super Sunday 🤩
