10-man Osasuna breaks off Real Madrid’s winning streak

Real Madrid dropped points for the first time this season as 10-man Osasuna held them to a 1-1 draw at the Santiago Bernabue.

Vinicius Junior gave the hosts the lead three minutes before the break, but Kike Garcia levelled things up five minutes after the break.

Karim Benzema missed the chance to put the defending Champions back in front, and most likely seal a win for them, when he failed to convert his 80th minute penalty.

The result which put an end to Madrid’s winning streak so far in the league, leaves Anceloti’s men at second, levelled on points with arch rivals Barcelona who defeated Marllaco 1-0 on Saturday.
